download crossover and then just run the exe file from there. to make it last longer you can follow this tutorial

or really any like it.

as soon as i start this game my gpu runs up to 95% usage and the game runs horribly. I wanted to do the jackseptic eye community speed challenge he's doing until the end of June but cant even record without it glitching out my OBS. very sad

could you add like visual culling idk the term for it but like just dont render any object outside of the players view, i feel like this would greatly increase performance idk tho

What is the Best way to connect your controller to this game?

I tried Xbox, PS4 and PS5 and nothing working, I used bluetooth and Wired and nothing worked.

Can you help with this issue? Am I missing something on my end?

As far as I'm aware, the game should recognize any plugged in (or bluetooth) controller immediately. If for some reason, this isn't working, I would try having Steam running in the background (with your controller set up through Steam) or running an external software like DS4Windows.

I haven't had this issue, but I also always have DS4Windows running in the background on my computer automatically, so that might be the issue! I hope this helps!

BEAN

is there anyway to release this on consoles? i want to play but don’t have a computer.

Unfortunately, since I am not a partner of any major console companies, I am currently unable to release the game for consoles. Hopefully projects I create in the future will have this option!

Playstation developers licenses are pretty easy to get if you wanted to try to get that, I used to have one myself a few years back.

I can't play the game. The Game is lagging too much and I think I don't match up with the games requirements.

Unfortunately the game is quite hefty, even on the lowest setting. I haven't found a way to lower the graphics requirements, but if I can manage to either lower requirements or create a separate, less graphically intensive build, I will!

Additionally there is an oddity. If you beeline it towards the round table in the staff room, the camera doesn't always switch to the one in the hallway towards the bathroom; making it very difficult to aim.

This actually happens because of necessary trigger placements for camera changes. This is only an issue when speedruning the game because cutting corners (no pun intended) isn't how the game is meant to be played. If I can make this a little easier in the future I will, but for now it needs to stay the way it is so the cameras can switch correctly when playing the game the way it's intended!

Hello. Author. There is a bug I'd look to report. I've only discovered this when struggling with the Hardcore level but after dying reportedly; I can't hit the restart button with the controller with a direct A. That is to say the button wasn't automatically selected. It was still clickable with a mouse however. And it was only one in a couple losses too, not constantly.

This is an issue I've been aware of since I set up controller support, but unfortunately I have no idea how to fix it! If I do find a way to fix that in the future, I will update the game to reflect that!

I actually think I already have the answer. Whenever you open up the restart panel you can call "EventSystem.current.SetSelectedGameObject(restartButtonGameObjectName);". This should in theory make the restart button automatically selected.

I appreciate the help, but this game was made in Unreal Engine 5 using blueprints with some pretty complex (and kind of arbitrary) menu controller integration.

If I do figure out how to fix it, I will update the game!

any chance this will be released on Mac?

Unfortunately, building games for Mac (at least when using the Unreal Engine in my experience) requires the developer to have a Mac. I do not have a Mac right now, so I will sadly not be able to build games for Mac just yet.

that's quite interesting actually, is it the same the other way around?

I don't think so. It seems like Apple locks their integration from being developed using other devices. It's strange and pretty annoying as a developer, but hopefully I can make it work in the future!

I really want to stream this game, but when I do, my twitch screen goes black and my stream lags and glitches horribly. Is there a fix this? I would love to stream it on Twitch!

I have problems launching the game, does anyone have a solution?

I keep getting trapped randomly in the geometry. Also a quick question. Are you using a RenderTexture for the mirror hooked up to the camera or is it something more along the lines of copied and pasted geometry separated by a see through wall?

am i the only one that has trouble launching the game?

found the 200% delicousness powerup

(+1)(-1)

Just started playing, and I enjoy it! But unfortunately I'm running into some issues with gameplay. I was able to resolve the lag by turning the resolution down to 50%, but my game still randomly freezes up and I'm not sure what's causing it.

(+2)(-1)

I turned all graphics settings to the worst and it's still lagging

(+4)(-1)

i love this! just cant find the last %200 deliciousness powerup!

(+1)(-1)

I'm unsure if you plan on updating this game. But if you do, could we get a highlighted drop shadow for the bean like in Crash Bandicoot 4? I can't interpret where my bean is when it's in the air.

(+1)(-1)

There's an area in the settings that adds a fire trail so it's easier to spot yourself

(+1)(-1)

Best game I've played on Itch.io this entire year!!!

(+2)(-1)

i havnt played yet but i allready know its gonna be fun  (torterous)

(-1)

Looks like a whole lot of fun! Looking forward to trying it. Also anything we can do locally to help contrast and potential darkness? I have bad eyesight.

The best time isn't actually best time, just your first time :)

(+3)(-1)

I really wanna play this game, it looks like so much fun, but it seems to run like poop on my pc ^^' What are the required specs?

(+2)(-1)
